Indy Parks Playgrounds

Mader Design partnered with Indy Parks for the redesign and construction of several neighborhood parks, made possible with funding from the American Rescue Plan Act. Bluff Park, Clayton-LaSalle Park, Orange Park, Porter Playfield, Pride Park, Sexson Park, and Willard Park are located throughout the city of Indianapolis and range from 1/2 acre to 11 acres. These parks were in need of renovation; the aged playground equipment was not appropriate for older children, and the basketball courts had declined.

Mader Design developed park redesigns focused on providing larger, exciting playground features for all ages. In addition to the playground elements, the redesigns included sidewalks, benches, enlarged and renovated basketball courts in some parks, and safety playground surfacing. Mader Design also coordinated drainage approvals to procure a permanent drainage easement for Bluff Park. These parks are now welcoming playspaces with modern equipment to benefit visitors of all ages.
