Parks, Trails, & Athletics

Mader Design has significant experience with parks and recreation departments throughout central Indiana, helping communities reach their goal of creating a better place to live, work and play. We have worked on and led numerous parks projects, including 800+ acre passive recreation and habitat restoration, trails and greenway implementation, and high-intensity community play spaces. We are also well-versed in designing athletic facilities, from high school competition fields to large sports complexes. Throughout master planning, design, and construction documents, we shape opportunities for play, exploration, education, and fun.
